Hey friends, it is Jamie. The dark moon in Gemini is happening right now, exact at 11 tonight where I am, tomorrow for some of you.

Dark moon energy is potent and I do not want you to skip past it. This is when the moon has no illumination, when the sun and the moon are together. I always say it is when we are with ourselves, our most beloved. Masculine and feminine energy in the same place. It is integration, it is alignment, it is a very good time for meditation and an even better time for rest. Especially if you are the person running the household, the family, and the job.

It is also the void, and the void is where creation happens. We could also call it magic.

The sun and the moon are exactly conjunct at 24 degrees of Gemini. That is inside the last stretch of the sign, which to me is king and queen energy, the mature version of what Gemini is. Gemini is the twins, Castor and Pollux, and years ago I used to say we were moving out of duality. I do not say that anymore. I think we are moving into understanding duality, which is different. There is night and day. There is up and down. The work is getting out of the idea that one of them is better than the other.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, so this is about how you communicate. How you speak, how you ask questions, what your body language says, and just as importantly what you listen to and what you are observing.

Now the aspects. The sun and moon are in a sesquiquadrate with Juno at 10 degrees, they are opposite Lilith in Sagittarius, and they are sextiling Eris in Aries. Three feminine energies, all with something to say.

A sesquiquadrate is a square and a half, 135 degrees, so it brings attention to a matter without forcing it. And what Juno wants attention on is right relationship. Juno rules time. She was the greatest of the goddesses to the Romans, part of the Capitoline triad with Minerva, who was wisdom, and Jupiter, who was her consort and king of the gods. She was his equal.

Do you see yourself as Juno? Do you see your partner ruling with the same energy? And do you understand that both of those live inside you?

Lilith is the other side of that. Black Moon Lilith left because she was not being seen as an equal. And Eris, sweet Eris, is discord. She is the one who threw the golden apple asking who is the fairest, which was a message aimed straight at the idea that women are catty and cannot be friendly to one another. She is starting a little discord with the sun and the moon, on purpose, to see where you stand now. Do you see yourself as the fairest? Good. Now how do you carry it? Because there is more than enough. Juno and Minerva were not fighting over who was smartest.

This is also a super moon, so the moon is at her closest even though you cannot see her. Take your questions into that void. And the sun and moon are trining the north node in its final degrees of Pisces, which brings unconscious material up to the surface. So watch for the ways you have been quietly perpetuating a story about yourself. I am a fill in the blank, so I can only do this. So and so thinks that about me, so I cannot go there.

How to work with it is simple and I will not dress it up. Sit in the quiet. Ask, honestly, how can I better embody Juno. How can I better understand Lilith. What is the discord inside me that I need to look at in order to move myself forward.

The image I always give people is your best friend coming over and the two of you sitting on the couch for hours. That is dark moon energy. And the important conversations do not have to be heavy. They can be laughter. It is a reconnection with the self and your own heart space, and a look at how it has all been going.

One last thing I just learned from Heather Ensworth, one of my mentors. The moon goes invisible when she is 13 degrees away from the sun, then conjunct, then 13 degrees out the other side, and it is only around the 14th and 15th degree that we get into new moon energy. Thirteen. That is the divine feminine number. When she told me that I thought, well, of course it is.

Enjoy the dark moon. Have the good conversation.
