Then pay attention to how it arrives, because it comes by the path of least resistance, which usually does not look like what you pictured. I had a stretch recently where money kept showing up sideways, people offering to pay me for things, and it was the universe pointing and saying, Jamie, here it is, this is what you asked for.
Group one. The Mermaid Tarot.
You drew the Empress, the Fool, and the Queen of Wands, with the King of Wands on the bottom. Two major arcana and a lot of feminine energy.
The Empress is ruled by Venus and she is divine timing. She is deeply in touch with the seasons, so she knows we are moving from spring into summer, and the question is what that signals for you. She is about allowing. She is about receiving and taking stock, and she is for anybody who is tired of always working on things. She does not chase. She receives, because she comes from the heart space.
The Fool is the zero card, the very first one, and pulling it alongside the Empress tells me you are genuinely at the front of a new cycle. When the Fool comes in, it is time. Time to take the leap, to move forward, to let things go. Look at how little she carries with her. That is the instruction.
The Queen of Wands is the movement, the passion, the drive. She is self-assured, she knows what she is doing with her day, she is funny and lighthearted, and she does not particularly care what people think of her. That lion behind her is her nod to the King of Wands, to Leo, to the solar plexus. And the King showing up on the bottom with her is soulmate energy, but read it internally first. She receives the information and he moves it out. That is your masculine and feminine in alignment.
Your crystal was kyanite. Truth, communication, clarity. It cuts through confusion and fear, opens the throat chakra, and it works with Aries, Taurus, Libra, Jupiter, and Neptune, which is perfect given what is happening in the sky. Your divine door was Change Beckons. The path is shifting, the road leads a new way, do not be alarmed.
Group two. The Witchy Cat.
You drew the Five of Wands, the Five of Pentacles, and the Queen of Wands, with the Nine of Wands on the bottom. She showed up for both groups, which matters.
Five is the number of change and grace. The Five of Wands is competition, and the message is that you are probably not in one. It looks like competition and it is mostly people wanting to be noticed. If you are watching someone else get ahead, that is your cue to turn back toward your own work. The best possible use of this card is, well, if they can do it, I can do it.
The Five of Pentacles is about moving toward what is actually stable for you and leaving behind what is not. In this deck they are on a boat, moving, and one of them is letting the other nap while they navigate. If the water is unsettled right now, that is the picture.
The Nine of Wands underneath is the worry. It shows up when you got what you wanted and now you are bracing for it to be taken. That energy never produces anything. Nothing happens. It is just the sensation of worrying. Get back to your solar plexus. You are a mature person, you know how to solve problems, and mature people also know how to ask somebody who knows more than they do. An actual human expert, ideally, with hands-on experience.
Your crystal was red jade. Warrior, individuality, chi. It releases anger in constructive ways, enhances passion and vitality, and it is for taking action and moving decisively. It also pairs with wanting bigger results, which is very Jupiter of it. Your divine door was Distant Dream. The distance calls your heart to roam free, and as you dare dream it, so it must be.
Both piles are getting out of the rat race. You see the bigger picture and nobody's opinion is holding you back. The universe is here to provide and to guide. We just have to be clear about what we are asking for, and then be good enough listeners to notice the answer.
