Hey friends, it is Jamie. Let me get something out of the way first. I already recorded a whole video about this full moon calling it a full moon in Virgo. Eight people saw it. And yes, I am going to say something about it, because sometimes things happen and we are all human. I am not a robot.
The good news is that almost none of it changes, because we are still working with earth energy. Virgo is mutable earth, Capricorn is cardinal earth. The difference is that Virgo resolves and Capricorn initiates. So take two.
The full moon lands on June 29 or 30 depending on where you are, at 8 degrees of Capricorn, with the sun at 8 degrees of Cancer. Cardinal earth, cardinal water, with Saturn and Neptune sitting in cardinal fire. That is a lot of signs that start things. We are in a period of initiating new ideas, new feelings, and new ways of getting things done, and all of it wants to be practical. The days of making it harder on ourselves than it needs to be are ending, and that is good.
Now here is what has been sitting with me. I have been talking for a while about how toxic masculine energy shows up in different forms, and I found another one. It is the quick fix. It is I will just do this real fast and someone else can deal with it later. It is a band-aid instead of a repair.
Not fixing something is its own kind of toxic masculine energy, because nobody around it ever gets to feel safe.
I am not only talking about the news. I mean the landlord who will not come fix the thing. My friends and I rent, and it is always slap that on there, we will be fine, for years. Nobody in that house feels settled. They are just waiting for the next thing to go. Corporations do the same thing at a bigger scale, kicking it down the road instead of doing the cleanup and the restructuring so that what comes next is standing on something solid. Put a pin in that and see where you notice it this week.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and Saturn got a bad reputation as the taskmaster. What Saturn actually wants is boundaries, and the age of Saturn was an abundant time precisely because people understood them. If I have this much land, I know what I can farm and what I can do with it, and it can be abundant. That is different from taking all the land, letting most of it rot, and sitting on the rest. Saturn wants you to take what you can actually work, do it well, and then get a little more. He wants you stable enough to dream. He is the sea goat, so he navigates water and mountains both. He does not want you overwhelmed by six hundred acres.
The moon at 8 degrees is in page energy, the first ten degrees, unjaded and full of belief that it can be done. So this is the moon for the thing you have been putting off. And Capricorn is the sign of work, so a lot of it is about changing how you work going forward.
The moon squares Saturn at 14 degrees of Aries, which is knight energy to me. The knight knows the job. So look at what your job actually is right now, and notice how many jobs you are doing that are not yours anymore. A full moon illuminates. It might be telling you that you need more free time. It might be telling you that you could get more done with a different kind of organization entirely.
It also squares Neptune at 4 degrees of Aries, still in those page degrees, which is often the something dreamier you want to bring in and cannot figure out how to reach. Usually the answer is that you have to put a boundary somewhere else first, or that what you are working on is not what you actually want to be working on.
And the moon squares the midheaven, which is about rebalancing expectations and rebalancing public and private life. That can go either direction. Maybe you thought something was going to help you and now you can see it is not. Maybe you have been putting everything out there and collecting everybody's opinions, and it is time to stop.
This is the first full moon of the summer, so it sets the pace for the season. We need a good summer. It is hot. Get your boundaries set, feel good about yourself, and start the one thing.
